Broadband and Home Networks – the Evolution (2005-2030)

Summary

Broadband and Home Networks—The Evolution, picks up where The Diffusion Group’s 2008 report, The Future of Home Networks, left off in chronicling the rapid rise of broadband adoption and associated increase in network diffusion in the home.

The subject of this report is the evolution of fixed-broadband Internet access and its home network extensions. Its main purpose is to forecast the growth of in-home networking infrastructure capable of supporting high-value services, applications, and business models beyond simple Internet connectivity.
