Vice President, Global Brand Marketing – DISNEY INFINITY
Gary Pfeiffer is an accomplished marketer of technology and entertainment products for leading global brands. Coupling strength in brand building and data-driven decision making, Gary led the marketing efforts of Disney INFINITY, Disney’s best-performing video game franchise in its interactive division’s history and the #1 toys-to-life product in the world in 2014 and 2015. Driving all aspects of the marketing spectrum from the product’s concept phase through 3 successive market launches, Gary integrated 4 major brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars) into compelling traditional and digital campaigns which drove over $1.5 billion in global sales. Prior to Disney INFINITY, Gary led the marketing efforts for Disney Interactive’s entire console and handheld gaming portfolio, launching 20-25 products annually for the company.
Prior to joining Disney Interactive, Gary held key positions in marketing at the following companies:
- Activision – Tony Hawk video game franchise (#1 best-selling action sports franchise)
- EarthLink – Launched corporate priorities including High-speed Internet (DSL, Cable Internet, Home-Networking)
- The Learning Company – Managed launches of best-selling titles including Oregon Trail, Reader Rabbit, and the Learn To Speak franchise
Gary holds an MBA of Marketing from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. A native of the Philadelphia area transplanted to LA, Gary spends his spare time watching and playing sports with his two sons who regularly now beat him in 1on1.
